The Meade ETX series of telescopes make amateur astronomy fun and easy by making it simple to align your telescope and find the many hidden wonders of our universe. Meade’s Level North Technology takes the guess work out of aligning your scope. Just enter your location (as simple as your 5 digit zip code) and let the computer go to work. Once the computer has set its internal clock, found North and determined level, it will point to the first of two alignment stars. All you have to do is center the stars in your field of view, which is a snap using Meade’s Wide Field Red Dot finder and the Autostar handbox.
Once your scope has been properly aligned, Meade’s AutoStar computer makes exploring the night sky as easy as pushing a button. Simply pick one of the more than 30,000 objects in the AutoStar database, or let the AutoStar computer take you on a guided tour whats best form your location.
